It works, period, March 15th, 2013
I needed to add my TV and still have room to hook up computers I am fixing and this fit the bill.
I plugged it in and it simply worked, no adjusting, no resetting and no problem.
This has to be the best bang for the buck I've had all year so far.

Set up is so simple. Connect the power cord; connect a cat5 cable from the SE2500 to a router; and connect your devices also by cat5 cables to the SE2500. Doesn't matter which ports are plugged into since it determines what is what. It works. And then forget about it: Worry free.

Just hooked it up by connecting the power plugs and the cat-5e cables and it has been working like a charm for the last several months. No other set-up hassles.

Terrific switch, March 15th, 2013
This is my first gigabit Ethernet product. I finally had a reason to get a gigabit product after I bought a NAS that supported the higher speed. I was able to connect my PC and iMac to the NAS through the switch and maintain Internet access and printer connectivity via my Linksys router. this switch performs incredibly well, transfers between my gigabit devices are fast and I have had zero issues to date with it.

Excellent Router, March 15th, 2013
I'm using both bands on this router with my iPhone and Ipad. Also with my new laptop. Speeds and range are excellent. Best router I've ever had.

Gigabit Excellence, March 15th, 2013
Unit is very nicely designed. Very low power consumption. I really like the abiltiy to turn off the indicator lighting, I have this switch hooked up in my entertainment center and don't always want to see the blinking lights. This unit is connected to my satellite receiver, slingbox and Xbox units and handles the video streaming from my home server. As both of PC's and Home Server have gigabit NIC cards I was looking for a switch to utilize this speed. I have this SE2500 coupled with the Cisco E3000 router which also supports Gigabit speed. Perfect marriage of router and switch.

Exceeded all my expectations!, March 15th, 2013
In short, I bought the Linksys 5-Port Gigabit Ethernet Switch to expand my Wired Network to ultimately expand my wireless networks throughout my house for business and pleasure needs. Without fail, the switch did exactly what I needed it to do HASSEL FREE! I was up and running in minutes with no special configuration required. Thank You Linksys / Cisco for another job well done!

Highly recommend, March 8th, 2013
This one just works! Plug and play, simple as that. Works with Macs & Apple routers too (some don't). After trying two other brands that would not shake hands with my Airport Extreme, I bought this one to connect a Smart TV, BD player, and Roku to ethernet and was off to the races. The speeds are amazing. Having two LEDs on each output as a diagnostic tool is great too, giving immediate feedback if there's a bad cable or connection.
